Andy McGinnity, a Carroll County native, started at Ellin & Tucker as an intern in the summer of 2021. He joined the firm as a first-year associate in 2022 following his graduation from Salisbury University. Emily Eckles also started at Ellin & Tucker as a part of the summer 2021 intern class. Originally from Carroll County, she joined the team as an associate upon graduation from University of Maryland in 2022. Since then, her hard work and determination has earned her the well-deserved promotion to senior associate. Emily recognizes the role that the firm’s supportive culture played in her achieving this career milestone. She says, “Ellin & Tucker has a welcoming environment. The firm’s leadership encourages you to come to them with questions. They want to help you learn and grow as a professional.”
Simon Kadel, who is from Frederick County, started his professional career with Ellin & Tucker in 2022 after graduating from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). He joined the firm as an associate. As a senior associate, Simon is excited to further his accounting career and says it means a lot to him to have the firm recognize that he is ready for the next step in his career. “They have given me the resources, and support, to help me navigate my professional journey” he continues. “I look forward to new opportunities as a senior associate that will help me continue to develop my skills and grow both personally and professionally.”
