We are pleased to announce that our very own Renee Collins has been promoted to director in the firm’s audit and accounting department. Renee will continue to foster the firm’s next generation of talent, serve as a leader in the community, and provide unwavering support to her clients.
Renee has spent the entirety of her professional career with Ellin & Tucker, joining the firm in 2010 after graduating from Towson University. Over the past 15 years, she established her role as a leader in the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan practice. In addition, with her growth and success in the firm’s audit and accounting department, she has excelled as a client service leader for many of the firm’s most influential clients in the construction, government contracting, manufacturing, and not-for-profit fields. Renee has exhibited her skills as a trusted partner to her clients and through her work educating her colleagues on industry standard updates.
As a director, Renee is excited about the future of the firm as it continues to grow and evolve with the accounting industry. Renee says, “The firm has always been open to new ideas that I have brought to the table. Just like this past year, when I was able to help implement AI software to advance the firm’s employee benefit plan audit process.” She adds, “Seeing the firm embrace my ideas as well as the new practices in our industry makes me excited for the future and the possibilities that lie ahead.”
