Ellin & Tucker Promotions Celebrate Next Generation of Leaders

Ellin & Tucker is proud to share the promotions of Amanda Johnston and Trevor Carter to manager in the firm’s audit and accounting department.

Amanda Johnston began her journey at Ellin & Tucker as an intern while attending Towson University. After graduating in 2014, she returned to the firm as an associate in the audit and accounting department. Since then, Amanda has continued to deliver exceptional work and has become an integral part of the department, providing excellent client service while cultivating relationships with clients in the construction and wholesale distribution industries as well as not-for-profit organizations.

A leader in the firm’s mentoring program, Amanda hopes to take on a stronger role in her new position as manager, helping foster the firm’s youngest and newest employees. “I’m grateful for my mentors and the guidance they have given me since I started at Ellin & Tucker,” says Johnston. “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity the firm has given me and I’m excited to be sharing what I’ve learned and experienced with firm’s next generation of professionals.”

Amanda lives in Arnold with her husband Ryan, daughter Evelyn, and their golden retriever Boh. In her free time, Amanda enjoys teaching tap dancing classes at a local studio.

A Rhode Island native, Trevor Carter moved to Baltimore to start his career with Ellin & Tucker after graduating from Elon University in 2012. A decade later Trevor Carter has made a reputation for building successful relationships with the firm’s most influential construction, wholesale distribution, and investment industry clients.

Trevor’s favorite part about working at Ellin & Tucker is the opportunity to establish long-lasting relationships with his clients. “I love working alongside our clients, helping them tackle issues, no matter how big or small, and achieve their goals”, says Trevor. “I take pride in knowing that to our clients, we are more than just their auditor, we are a part of their team.”

Trevor resides in Phoenix with his wife Katie, twin toddlers, a newborn, and their 9-year-old chocolate lab named Baloo (yes, like “The Jungle Book”). An avid sports fan, Trevor loves cheering on his New England Patriots or any other greater Boston sports team.
