Aileen Eskildsen Honored by MACPA for Leadership in Accounting

Ellin & Tucker is proud to announce that Aileen Eskildsen, managing director and chief executive officer, has been awarded the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) Women to Watch “Experienced Leader” award. Aileen and the rest of this year’s award recipients were celebrated on Thursday, September 26 at a ceremony held by the organization.

The awards, which were launched in 2014, are broken up into two distinct categories: “Emerging Leader” and “Experienced Leader,” each highlighting the accomplishments and contributions of women in the accounting profession. The “Experienced Leader” award recognizes women in the CPA profession who have established their roles as leaders in their organizations by advancing to the highest levels of management or ownership, and who are mentoring those following in their footsteps. This recognition was a full circle moment for Aileen. In the inaugural year for the Women to Watch awards, she was presented with the “Emerging Leader” award, which is given to up-and-coming stars who demonstrate leadership and contribute to the profession through service and implementation of impactful initiatives.
